Red Cross Lecture and Demonstration

In our objective to enhance awareness on workplace safety, last April 13, 2019, we have invited Ms. Jean D. Pascual and Mr. Raymond C. Domingo; young professionals from the Philippine Red Cross – Nueva Ecija Chapter,  to share with us their knowledge and skills on basic life support and dealing with first aid during emergencies. A short yet productive stint focuses on acknowledging emergency situations, assessing the right time when to give first aid and its necessity to extend help in saving other people’s life and not to give additional injury if ever. They presented simple yet effective techniques like the role of triangular bandage (similar to boy scout/girl scout handkerchief) which can be used to different types of injuries and cuts to prevent further damage. Knowing the basic concept of first aid and its components, makes each and every employee more aware on emergency situation and safety precautions... an added learning which can be applied anytime, anywhere.
